Congratulations to our CNSC Biathletes on a Successful BC Champs
The best performance of the weekend was for Claire Lapointe who finished first in the senior girl's 7.5 km Pursuit - great race for her. Emily Dickson was getting over a flu so she did not perform as well this weekend. It was a great weekend with our Caledonia Club having the biggest team present (17 athletes). It was a sprint on Saturday and Pursuit on Sunday. The organization of the event was excellent and the venue was perfect. Next year we hope to be on the new Canada Winter Games Biathlon venue. This winds up the Biathlon BC Cup series for 2012-2013 with the next big event being the National Championships at Whistler starting on March 15th. As a result of the season's performances there will be 8 members on the BC team from Caledonia Nordic Ski Club ( 6 returning athletes and 2 novices to the BC team). The CNSC representatives will be (in decreasing order of experience):
