What is a Loppet: A large, long distance (approximately 35+ kilometer) Cross Country Skiing event over varied terrain.

Who Can Participate: If you are a skate and classic skier that wants to improve your technique, fine-tune it, or increase your fitness level to give you the confidence to chase your skiing goals, this program is for you.

What is the Masters Loppet Group: This group is in part a training group, and in part a technique improvement group.

Upon registering: You’ll receive a package with details on a 9-week training program leading up to the Caledonia Loppet, as well as a large amount of information about training, technique, and other ski related info. Workouts will be designed to improve our technique, strength, stamina, and speed, and will be suited to skiers who've gotten the basics down for both classic and skating techniques.

Events:

- Caledonia Loppet (Skate)

- Quesnel’s Hallis Lake Loppet (Classic) and many more in package.

Equipment: Participants should have both classic and skating gear, and we recommend having both in the car as we may switch at the last minute as the snow conditions dictate.

To ensure you are well suited for this group, please email Andrew at coachcasey@caledonianordic.com, or Carolyn at schoolski@caledonianordic.com to discuss your skiing abilities.
