This course will teach you how to navigate in the backcountry using different tools from compass to GPS. Every person should know how to make it to their destination and make it back out. You will get the opportunity to use different navigation tools outside. Dress for the weather. Do not forget your hiking shoes!

About the instructor:
Rennae Pillipow has spent her entire life exploring the outdoors. An Aussie by birth and Canadian by heart, she has spent endless hours in the backcountry. Rennae teaches an Outdoor Recreation Class to the high school students. She will bring both her teaching skills and backcountry knowledge into this practical workshop.
