Closed for the Winter Season

Posted on April 2, 2024
With our season coming to an end we wanted to say THANK YOU for being a part of our CNSC community this season!
Our Season in Review:

This has been a challenging season from start to finish. We had some amazing days and some difficult. We had low snow, no snow, cold days and rain. We also had blue skies, smiling faces and some of the best skiing conditions in the province. It was a battle, but we made it happen and we thank all our members for your support and understanding.

As a result of low numbers and reduced visitors, the Rental Shop and Office will be closed for the season. Big thanks to our Rental Shop and Office team for all your hard work (Sadie Bialuski, Chloe Bialuski, Stephanie Horning, Sage Bialuski).

Trails Report

Spring skiing conditions have been fantastic. The natural snow is basically gone, and often quite icy, but the man made snow is still in reasonable shape. Our groomers will be out, but grooming will be reduced. Please watch the trails report for updates.

Big thanks to our Grooming Team this season for all their hard work. They made this season happen!! (Peter Hoffman, Erik Hoffman, Steve Cutts). We must also thank the grooming support and snowmaking team for assisting this season (Ken Hannah, Mike Palangio, Devon Flynn, Issiah Wyatt, Dusty Martin and Stephanie ” Multi Talented” Horning)

Please respect any trail closures as these have been setup to ensure skier safety, including some tree falling.

Bike Season isn’t here yet!

A common strategy for most of our members when they receive this newsletter is to put the storage wax on the skis, pack everything away and pull out the bikes. Please remember, there is a bit of time between the two seasons.

Pull out the bikes, get them tuned up, build up biking muscles on the road, but please hold off on riding the singletrack trails. They are not ready. We will let you know when they are as we will be some of the first out there.

Thank you for your patience!

Spring & Summer

We look forward to seeing everyone throughout the Spring/Summer. Make sure to watch for our Newsletters/Social Media/Website for any upcoming Events. We will continue to provide some entertaining opportunities for our members and community. Don’t forget we are offering youth Saturday Spring Riding Sessions and Summer Bike Camps! Registration is required.
