Awards Event

An outdoor awards event will be held at Otway Nordic Centre, on Saturday evening, March 5th.

Fireworks! A DJ! Sound like fun? Tickets are $20 each and include 4 vouchers to redeem at one of the food tables. Food includes finger foods and desserts.

(Note that this is not likely to replace dinner for an athlete.) Unfortunately we will not have gluten free options.

This outdoor event will take place in the lower parking lot at Otway from 7-9pm.

Tickets will be refunded if Covid restrictions prevent the event from taking place.
Deadline for ticket purchase is 11:59pm on Tuesday, March 1st.

Ticket Purchase
Tickets will be distributed by Club at bib pickup on Saturday, March 5th.

We have 3 large Atco type trailers for waxing. They each have 3 rooms. It is important to note that the exterior doors lock but the interior doors do not. This means that access to the middle room is via the rooms with the exterior doors on either end. It also means that your gear is secure from the public but open to other teams. The middle room is quite large and suitable for smaller teams to share. We are not charging for use of this room but there is a $100 key deposit for each key, payable by cash or cheque, made out to Caledonia Nordic Ski Club. Refunds are based on key return and rooms left clean.

How do you get a wax room? Email Robin at raceoffice@caledonianordic.com! Let me know if you want an end room or a big middle room and I’ll do my best to accommodate. First come first serve. If you intend to share space with another team please coordinate and send me just one email.

There is also lots of space with power outlets along the biathlon range fence. It’s a great space for tents.

We will have overnight on-site security through the night. If you require space for your team trailer please let me know and I’ll connect you with the Venue crew.
