POLICE INFORMATION CHECK:
Protecting our youngest and venerable members is important to all of us. All CNSC volunteers working with children are required to complete a Police Information Check every three (3) years. There is no charge for getting a Volunteer Criminal Record Check but your time in doing so is appreciated and important to everyone at our club. In British Columbia, if you work or volunteer with, or have the potential for unsupervised access to children and/or vulnerable adults, you are required to complete a criminal record check.
Procedure:
- Print the Volunteer – Consent to Criminal Record Check form
- Complete the form and bring it to the CNSC Office with 2 pieces of ID.
- Criminal Record Checks (CRC) take approximately 1-3 weeks to be processed. Volunteers will be notified by the RCMP once their processed CRC is ready to be picked up.
- Bring the completed check to the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club office (1st Floor of Lodge overlooking the Stadium)
Thank you for volunteering with CNSC!
